Missing Miles so much! This hole in my heart hurts more than words can say!

Come Around Sundown

On Monday Sept 29th my beautiful, genuinely Kind, smart, funny, talented guitar playing, nephew who had a TON of living caring friends went missing.  After his car was found parked under a tree at a nature perserve that Wednesday, the local policea began a major search. On Thursday evening at around 9pm, Oct 2nd (my fathers Birthday and Severino's date of death at 18 years old in 1986), The Police and a Rabbi went to my brothers house to tell him and my sister in law they found my Nephew. He had completed suicide.  After almost a year of struggling with major depression he finalized his pain.
I am devestated. Nothing will ever be the same and this sadness will now linger in my heart forever. Despair is no stranger for me, but I am trying to make sense of it all so it does not become my immortal identity.  WHY? is the only consistent word. Why did he do it? Why didn't I do more with him? WHy did I think time was on our side? Why didn't I see the signs? Why didn't I fight more for him to get better treatment? Why didn't those "professionals" care more?!

Cersei the Proverbial Royal BEATCH!

Reading Book 4 of A Song of Fire and Ice (AKA, Game of Thrones).  It's the greatest thing since ... IDK.  But while suffering some a  haunting or 2 or 3 of recent and distant past, this book series is helping me in ways few could know.

Once I was a person who loved to write and I was deemed pretty good...now...nothing much for me to say. Reading A Song of Fire and Ice series, is truly like eating for me...MUST and NEED are words that come to play here.

Trying to savor every word slowly so I might JUST finish Book 5 and then Book 6 will be close behind without too much torture in waiting.
